African Arts & Crafts - Cultural Tours Kasane

African Arts & Crafts is an open market art/craft business trading under OPN Group of Companies (Pty) LTD, operating on an open space situated in Kasane township –  adjacent to the world’s diversity wildlife reserve; the Chobe National Park, at the confluence of Chobe and Zambezi rivers, along Caprivi strip (Namibia), and 70km from Livingstone (Zambia) and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). Our products range from the African perspective, and the seasonal business opportunities emanating from our strategic geographical location and the tourist mobility during peak season (March to September).


African Arts & Crafts creates, collects and sells (also distribute) art and craft from Botswana, mostly from Okavango delta (Maun, Sexaxa, Matsaudi, Sankuyo, Etsha, Gumare, Shakawe), Chobe (Kasane, Mabele, Kavimba, Kachikau, Parakarungu, Kazungula and Lesoma), Central (Mathangwane, Xere, Mmea, Shoshong, Sefhophe). To complement our patriotic Africanism, we also collect stone, wood, wire and batiks from Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe to have a culturally diverse souvenir shop.


The Manager, Mr. Ntema is the co-founding member and Coordinator of Chobe Alliance for Arts Organisation (CAAO); a creative cultural tourism hub in Kasane, Botswana (www.facebook.com/creativecaao).
